Micael Stohm created a penis-shaped island in a dam just south of Ulricehamn back in 2019. The island, named Kukön, has recently gained significant attention in media and on social platforms.
Micael Stohm, who works as a tow truck driver, describes the construction process as the result of a couple of crates of beer, two idiots and an excavator. Together with a friend he decided during the dam construction in 2019 to add an island in the middle of the dam.
The island measures between 11 and 18 meters in width and just over 28 meters in length. The shape is clearest from above, and there is a viewing point by the dam with a good view of the island.
Stohm obtained all necessary permits for the build. Reactions have been positive, with visitors coming to see the island. He and his wife even held their wedding on a nearby hill.
The island has appeared in SVT, SR and Ulricehamns Tidning and received tens of thousands of views online. Stohm now plans new secret projects.
