New Chick-fil-A restaurant opens in Findlay, Ohio

A new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Findlay, Ohio, will open on March 5, 2026, creating about 110 jobs for the local community. Local Owner-Operator Paul Hadde, who already operates another location in the area, will lead the new site at 1165 W Trenton Ave. The opening includes a $25,000 donation to support hunger relief efforts.

The new Chick-fil-A Flag City restaurant will begin serving customers on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 6:30 a.m., according to a press release from Chick-fil-A, Inc. Located at 1165 W Trenton Ave. in Findlay, Ohio, the site will operate Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. for dine-in service and from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the drive-thru. It will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pick-up, and Mobile Thru options.

Paul Hadde, selected as the local Owner-Operator, marks this as his second Chick-fil-A restaurant in the community. He opened the first in Findlay in 2018 after starting his career with the company in 2009 as a Team Member in Rocky River, Ohio. Hadde and his family have lived in Findlay for nearly a decade, building ties with local schools and nonprofits. He will continue operating the original Findlay location alongside the new one.

The opening will create approximately 110 full- and part-time jobs. Chick-fil-A Owner-Operators emphasize hands-on training, mentoring, competitive pay, benefits, scholarships, and flexible schedules to support employee growth. "One of the greatest privileges of being a local Owner-Operator is watching someone step into their first job or grow into a leadership role and realize they’re capable of more than they imagined," Hadde said. He added that his own experiences shaped his career, and the new restaurant will expand opportunities for the community.

Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America to aid the West Ohio Food Bank in local hunger relief. The restaurant will join the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, partnering with City Mission to redirect surplus food to those in need. Nationwide, the program has helped create over 42 million meals across more than 2,500 participating restaurants.

Chick-fil-A operates as a franchise model where independent Owner-Operators manage each site, reinvesting in local economies. The company, founded in 1946 by S. Truett Cathy, employs over 200,000 team members in more than 3,000 locations across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, the UK, and Singapore.
