Warner Bros released a launch trailer for Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on May 7. The video uses Seal's Kiss from a Rose and highlights references to Batman history. The game is scheduled to launch on May 22 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The trailer mixes elements from across the Batman franchise, including costumes from comics, scenes from Arkham City, and movie references. It features Alfred reading Michael Caine's 2024 social media post that misspelled Batman Begins as Batman Begin. Another scene includes Two-Face saying I simply cannot sanction any more of your buffoonery, referencing a reported incident between Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey during the filming of Batman Forever.
