No major incidents or evictions occurred during venue inspections, resulting in about 20 light administrative sanctions and 24 interventions for public alcohol consumption.
Police responded to eight thefts, 17 forcible entries, and 77 fights or assaults, plus three traffic accidents involving injuries. Firefighters conducted 73 operations, 60% for container fires—often deliberate, especially in the Centro Sur area—and residential blazes, totaling nine house fires.
Two fires stood out for their intensity. Around 01:15 on Boyer Street in Vicálvaro, flames started in containers holding airplane seats and spread to adjacent industrial sheds. Fifteen fire units, aided by Police Municipal drones for real-time updates, halted the spread without injuries, causing only material damage. After 04:00, a third-floor apartment on Cobalto Street in Villaverde saw a widespread fire in the living room. Two brothers aged 20-25 were rescued from a window with mild smoke inhalation and hospitalized. The mother, in cardiorespiratory arrest, was resuscitated on site and rushed gravely to La Paz Hospital; her partner, suffering burns and inhalation syndrome, to Getafe Hospital. Samur-Protección Civil performed 200 interventions, comprising 32 alcohol poisonings and 15 assaults in nightlife spots, with no stabbing cases. They handled three road accidents, the most severe being a hit-and-run at Fuente Carrantona and Hacienda de Pavones intersection, where a 22-year-old man sustained severe facial trauma after being struck by a driver who veered off the road. For cleanup, 33,450 kilograms of waste were collected around the bells, 600 less than the prior year, using 116 workers and 55 mechanical aids.
