Panini confirmed on Friday the authenticity of the Spanish version of the 2026 World Cup album, sold in Europe without Neymar in the Brazil national team. The roster features Rodrygo and Estêvão despite recent injuries ruling them out of the tournament. In Brazil, the album launches on May 1.
Panini stated on Friday (24) that the Spanish edition of the 2026 World Cup album, disclosed by local media outlets, excludes Neymar, Brazil's main star in recent years but not yet selected by coach Carlo Ancelotti.
The official call-up is set for May 18. Neymar featured in the last three World Cups and prior albums. The omission drew notice, as did the inclusion of Rodrygo, a Real Madrid forward sidelined by injury and absent from the tournament hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Chelsea's Estêvão is also listed despite a grade 4 muscle injury against Manchester United on Saturday (18), making his involvement unlikely. Panini's Brazil roster includes two goalkeepers (Alisson and Bento), five defenders (Marquinhos, Éder Militão, Gabriel Magalhães, Danilo, and Wesley), three midfielders (Lucas Paquetá, Casemiro, and Bruno Guimarães), and eight forwards (Luiz Henrique, Vini Jr., Rodrygo, João Pedro, Matheus Cunha, Gabriel Martinelli, Raphinha, and Estêvão).
