Parts of northern Dalarna without power on Wednesday

Nearly 4,600 households in Mora and Älvdalen municipality lost power on Wednesday due to thunder.

The power failure began shortly after 3 PM on Wednesday afternoon. Customers in Mora, Orsa, Älvdalen, Idre and the Grövelsjön area were affected.

Ellevio reported that just over 700 households still lacked electricity at 7:45 PM. Most had power restored later in the evening.

At 9:50 PM, 64 customers in Mora remained affected. The company said power could come and go during repairs.
