Miami Heat has exercised its team option to extend Swedish guard Pelle Larsson's contract. He will therefore stay with the club for at least one more year.
Miami Heat announced that the team has chosen to retain Pelle Larsson by activating the option in his contract. The news came from the club's website.
Larsson was drafted by the Heat in the summer of 2024 and signed a three-year deal at that time. The agreement included a team option that gave the club the right to decide whether he would stay for the third year.
During the past season the 25-year-old had his breakthrough in the NBA. He started 54 games and averaged slightly more than eleven points per match with 28 points as his highest single-game total.
