Polaris Parks for Industrial Development has announced the acquisition of a 1.1 million square metre land plot in a strategic location in Sadat City. The expansion is expected to attract around $1bn in direct investments and create about 15,000 direct and indirect job opportunities. This acquisition serves as a natural extension of the existing Polaris Sadat City Industrial Park.
Polaris Parks for Industrial Development, a leading developer of industrial parks in Egypt, has acquired a new 1.1 million square metre land plot located about 2.5 kilometres from its existing Sadat City Industrial Park, which spans 1.4 million square metres and hosts around 100 factories. The expansion will follow a phased development timeline to meet high efficiency standards, with full completion set for January 2028, offering investors a fully integrated, future-ready industrial environment.
Osman Evren Arikan, Managing Director of Polaris Parks, described the acquisition as “a new chapter in the company’s growth journey,” emphasizing the focus on building integrated industrial communities that foster long-term investment and create real economic value, beyond merely providing serviced land. Basil Shaira, General Manager, noted that the move addresses rising demand from industrial investors for well-planned projects, enhancing investment readiness, operational efficiency, and manufacturers’ sustainable growth strategies.
With nearly two decades of experience, Polaris Parks has built a diverse portfolio across four key regions in Egypt, including its flagship Polaris International Industrial Park and Polaris Zamil in 6th of October City, Polaris Sadat City, and Polaris New October. These developments cover more than 10 million square metres, host over 600 factories, and include around 450 units for small and medium-sized enterprises. The projects have drawn cumulative investments exceeding $3.5bn and generated more than 85,000 direct and indirect jobs, highlighting the industrial sector’s role in economic growth.
This latest expansion supports national initiatives to boost industrial activity, improve local production competitiveness, and create sustainable employment, aligning with Egypt’s goal to increase the sector’s contribution to the economy by 2030. Polaris Parks pioneered the private industrial parks model in Egypt since 2007, prioritizing long-term planning and sustainable infrastructure.
