Police in Västerås dealt with several incidents involving intoxication, assault and graffiti during the Cityfestivalen that recently concluded.
According to police, intoxication levels were high during the three festival days. Around 90 people were taken into custody under LOB and about 15 assault reports were filed.
Stefan Larsson, press spokesperson for police region Mitt, described the festival as eventful with significant intoxication. He also mentioned one case where a police car was graffitied.
Intoxication levels resembled those from previous editions of the festival in Västerås.
