The Swedish Police Authority has decided to camera-monitor parts of central Borlänge with drones during the football match between Brage and Falkenberg on June 26.
The decision applies on Saturday, June 26, between 15:00 and 23:00. The purpose is to prevent criminal activity and maintain public order and safety.
The police will use unmanned aircraft systems, known as UAS. Surveillance is limited to public places and the drones fly at high altitudes.
Footage may be used in investigations and as evidence in court proceedings.
