The Prince Estate has announced a new compilation album titled 'Timeless' featuring 10 rare and unreleased tracks from across the musician's career. The album will be released on August 28 via Legacy Recordings. A new single, 'Stone,' recorded in 1995, is now available.
The 10-song collection draws from recordings made between 1977 and 2016. It was curated by the Prince Estate and includes tracks such as 'I Am You,' 'With This Tear,' and a live version of 'How Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore?' from 2016. The announcement coincides with Prince Celebration Week in Minneapolis, running from June 1 to 7. The city's skyline will be illuminated in purple on June 6, with listening sessions and events planned at Paisley Park and downtown Minneapolis. 'With This Tear,' another track from the album, was shared in April to mark the 10th anniversary of Prince's death. The album will be available on streaming platforms as well as purple marble vinyl, black vinyl, and CD formats.
