Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad fought hard during the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa before sharing a commercial flight home on easyJet. The pair discussed their on-track duel during the journey and confirmed they regularly use low-cost airlines.
The two Racing Bulls drivers produced one of the closest fights of the race when Lindblad overtook Lawson on the Kemmel Straight after running side by side through Eau Rouge. Lawson took to the run-off area at Les Combes to avoid contact.
Lindblad said the team booked them seats close together on the flight. He explained his preference for commercial travel by noting he has not got much money and is happy to save where possible.
Lawson described the battle as really good and said he did not hold anything against his teammate. Both drivers praised their relationship, noting they congratulate each other after strong performances and maintain a good balance on and off track.
