Racing Club secured its first win in the Apertura Tournament by beating Argentinos Juniors 2-1 in the group stage of the Liga Profesional, played at Estadio Presidente Perón in Avellaneda. The Academy's goals were scored by Tomás Conechny and Santiago Solari in the first half, while Erik Godoy pulled one back early in the second half.
