President Cyril Ramaphosa is scheduled to travel to France from 10 to 12 July for a UNESCO meeting on education goals.
The president will co-chair the High-Level Steering Committee on Sustainable Development Goal Four at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. He is also set to attend the Transforming Education Summit Stocktake during the trip.
Ramaphosa will then go to Longueval for the 110th commemoration of the Battle of Delville Wood. The event honours South African soldiers who died in the First World War and includes a wreath-laying ceremony along with the unveiling of a UNESCO plaque.
