Actress Ratu Sofya has denied reports that she sent a subpoena to her parents. The dispute originated from a film contract with HAS Pictures.
Ratu Sofya stated that she never sent a subpoena to her mother or father. She made the clarification in a statement accompanied by her legal team on Saturday, 23 May 2026.
Ratu Sofya’s lawyers, Risvan and Dede Rahmat, explained that the letter sent was a statement of position in response to a subpoena from HAS Pictures. The subpoena concerned unfulfilled promotional obligations for the film Dosa Penebusan atau Pengampunan.
Ratu Sofya’s father is listed as the signatory of the contract with the production house. The legal team added that Ratu’s rights must be fulfilled first before any promotion takes place.
Ratu Sofya’s mother, Intan Masthura, had earlier appeared in a press conference with HAS Pictures producer Reza Aditya and was seen crying while discussing family relations.
