Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Gujarat Titans by 92 runs in IPL 2026 Qualifier 1 at Dharamshala on Tuesday to advance to their second consecutive final.
Rajat Patidar led the charge with an unbeaten 93 off 33 balls as RCB posted 254 for five, the highest total in an IPL playoff match. Virat Kohli scored 43 and Krunal Pandya added 43 in the innings at HPCA Stadium.
Gujarat Titans managed only 162 in reply. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets early, including the captain Shubman Gill, while Josh Hazlewood and others finished the job.
The win keeps RCB's title defence alive. They will face the winner of Qualifier 2 in the final. Former player AB de Villiers was seen embracing Kohli after the match.
