Fox announced Tuesday that Robin Thicke will replace Randy Jackson as bandleader when Celebrity Name That Tune returns for Season 6. Thicke joins returning host Jane Krakowski, with new episodes set to begin airing Monday, September 21, at 8 p.m.
Jackson will step away from on-screen duties but will continue serving as consulting music supervisor. Sources confirmed he will lend his expertise to shape the show's music and creative direction.
Thicke will also return as a judge on The Masked Singer for Season 15, which is slated to premiere in early 2027. The revival of Name That Tune first aired on Fox in January 2021 and features contestants competing in music games.
