Roh Si-hwan of the Hanwha Eagles says confidence is fueling his recent success at the plate. The 25-year-old slugger hit a grand slam Tuesday to help his team beat the Kiwoom Heroes 11-5.
Roh went deep in his first game back with the Eagles on April 23 after a brief minor league stint. He has batted .364 with six home runs and 15 RBIs in 10 games since the start of May, tops in the KBO.
The Eagles improved to a season-high three-game winning streak with the 11-5 victory at Gocheok Sky Dome but remain at 17-20 and tied for sixth place. Roh said the team needs no major changes if its pitchers and hitters maintain their current form.
