Seven Bogotá brands to take part in international fashion week in Andalusia

Seven Bogotá fashion brands have been chosen to showcase their collections at the 25th edition of the International Fashion Week in Andalusia, set to take place at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid.

The Bogotá Chamber of Commerce led the selection and curation process through its Puente Internacional program. The participating brands are Mónica Fonnegra, Cueros Unipiel, Cardiaca, Saág, Plur, Dunia Shoes and Revolución Urbana.

Ovidio Claros Polanco, president of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, said the goal is to position local talent in international markets. “We want entrepreneurs from popular sectors, emerging designers and young creatives to reach international markets,” he stated.

Each brand will present collections that highlight sustainability, cultural identity and textile innovation. The participation aims to strengthen Colombia’s creative economy and open export opportunities for emerging designers.
