Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt has resurfaced a video calling for stricter local crime enforcement to prevent federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in the city. He accused incumbent Mayor Karen Bass of playing politics that invite such interventions.
In the February video, which gained renewed attention this month, Pratt said he does not want ICE agents in Los Angeles. He argued that enforcing existing laws would remove the need for federal involvement and criticized Bass for defying federal authorities instead of cracking down on crime herself.
