Summer Square in Vattholma receives new furniture

The Summer Square in Vattholma has been developed ahead of summer 2026 with stronger local involvement and new furniture.

The local council Bygderådet Vattholma i Samverkan runs the project together with local businesses. Uppsala Municipality plays a smaller role than before. The Summer Square received 60 000 kronor through the municipality's citizen budget. The proposal for furniture at a central meeting place won the vote. The furniture was produced by Lenabergs Företagspark and master carpenter Henning Lemke. The location is outside Tempo in Vattholma and originated from an initiative that began in 2025.
