The nerve-shredding FMV horror-thriller The Run has expanded to Android devices following its iOS debut, with players now able to download it for £9.99 GBP / €9.99 EUR / $9.99 USD. A Steam page for the upcoming PC version is live for wishlisting ahead of its 2025 release. A new 30-second trailer highlights the game's intense, choice-driven narrative set in Northern Italy.

Launch Details

Announced on November 5, 2025, from London, UK, The Run is now available on iOS via the App Store and Android via the Google Play Store. Developed and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Paul Raschid, the game is published by PRM Games in collaboration with Benacus Entertainment and RNF Productions. It immerses players as a fitness influencer whose routine run along the trails of Lake Garda turns into a desperate survival chase against mysterious assailants.

Gameplay and Features

The Run offers over three and a half hours of cinematic FMV content with multiple branching storylines, twenty unique deaths, and five distinct endings. Key features include choice-driven gameplay, timed and paused choices for solo or group play, and a sprawling story map to track paths and outcomes. Every decision influences the real-time narrative, where one wrong move can be fatal.

Cast and Production

Starring Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones, Strike Back) and George Blagden (Vikings, Versailles), the game features appearances by horror icon Dario Argento and Italian legend Franco Nero. Raschid, known for titles like The Complex and Five Dates, brings his expertise in interactive storytelling to this thriller.

Additional Momentum

The Run has screened at festivals including Raindance London, Motelx Lisbon, Dinard, and Imagine Amsterdam. It also has a two-month theatrical residency at London's Genesis Cinema and a poster campaign on the London Underground. Fans can watch the new launch trailer and download the press kit for more details. The PC version is set to launch later in 2025.
