Three boys aged 15 are convicted of gross assault and gross unlawful coercion after an incident at a schoolyard in Älvkarleby municipality earlier this year. The victim was forced to drink an old smoothie and take a piece of dog feces among other acts.
The incident was triggered by a conflict over a girl. The assaulted boy had spent time with one of the convicted boys' ex-girlfriend which led one of the boys to drive the assault.
The assault was filmed and showed the boys kicking and hitting the victim. They also held a tight grip around his neck. The victim was additionally forced to swallow and sniff a substance he believes was ADHD medicine.
Two of the boys are sentenced to youth care. The third is also convicted for a previous assault against a girl and receives 85 hours of youth service and must pay 8 000 kronor in damages to her. All three must pay a total of around 101 000 kronor in damages to the victim.
