Following a serious injury to Broderick Jones, the Pittsburgh Steelers have shifted Troy Fautanu to left tackle. The move pairs him again with guard Mason McCormick on the left side of the offensive line.
The change came after Dylan Cook initially replaced Jones. Head coach Mike McCarthy flipped Fautanu and Cook to their new positions. Sports director Jeff Hathhorn discussed Fautanu's progress during a recent appearance on 93.7 The Fan radio station. Hathhorn noted that judging the lineman was difficult because he was blocking air, but added that footwork showed no signs of discomfort.
