Westside Cowboy share new single and announce shows

Manchester quartet Westside Cowboy have released their new single 'Pin Up Boys' and announced a series of record store performances. The track serves as the second preview of their debut album 'It Goes On', due August 21 on Island Records.

The band described the song as having been written a year and a half ago with basic tools including an acoustic guitar and a drum machine. They aimed to capture a faithful version of their live performance during recording.

Produced by Loren Humphrey at Greenmount Studios in Leeds, the single follows the earlier release of 'Kick Stones (The Boys)'. A video for the track was directed by Jack Shep of Saturday Night Live UK.

Record store shows are scheduled for August and September, with tickets going on sale July 2. The dates include stops in Brighton, London, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham and Glasgow. These performances join an already planned UK and European tour.
