The Washington Wizards secured the top selection in the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft after winning the lottery in May. The draft is scheduled over two nights, with Round 1 on Tuesday and Round 2 on Wednesday.
The Wizards earned the No. 1 pick for the first time since selecting John Wall in 2010. BYU's AJ Dybantsa and Kansas' Darryn Peterson are the leading candidates to go first overall.
Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers are projected to complete the top five selections. Duke's Cameron Boozer and North Carolina's Caleb Wilson are also expected among the top five picks.
The full 60-pick order was released ahead of the event. Each round features 30 selections. Recent top picks include Cooper Flagg by the Dallas Mavericks in 2025 and Zaccharie Risacher by the Atlanta Hawks in 2024.
