The Wolf Among Us 2 will launch in 2027 after years of development delays. A remastered version of the 2013 original is set to arrive this holiday season.
Telltale Games and publisher PM Studios announced the updated timeline during Summer Game Fest 2026. The sequel, first announced in 2017, had faced multiple interruptions including studio closures and a 2023 engine switch to Unreal 5. Development had involved AdHoc Studio until the teams parted ways last year. Rumors of cancellation circulated afterward, but Telltale confirmed the project remains active. The remaster aims to bridge the gap until the sequel arrives. Both titles continue the story based on Bill Willingham's Fables comics.
