eShop Update

Three days after the early version 3.0 free update, Nintendo launched the enhanced Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition on January 16, 2026, as part of a major eShop refresh. The edition brings upgraded graphics, Joy-Con 2 controls, and expanded multiplayer, while the free update—adding features like a resort hotel and Slumber Islands—remains available to all players.
