Following the Super Bowl trailer debut, Illumination founder Chris Meledandri offered further details on Minions & Monsters at CinemaCon, describing it as a celebration of cinema that opens in the 1920s with the Minions discovering something unexpected. The film remains on track for its July 1, 2026 release.
