A Thousand Horses release music video for Shadows

A Thousand Horses have unveiled the music video for their new single Shadows, featuring Aaron Gillespie. The track is from their upcoming album White Flag Down, set for release on February 27, 2026. It explores themes of betrayal and hidden truths in relationships.

A Thousand Horses, a Nashville-based group nominated twice for ACM Awards, have released the music video for Shadows. The song features contributions from Aaron Gillespie and appears on the band's forthcoming album White Flag Down, scheduled for February 27, 2026.

The track delves into the darker aspects of personal struggles, with a description highlighting its hard-hitting energy and sharp edge. Lead singer Michael Hobby explained the inspiration: “The song came from watching a relationship fall apart under betrayal and lies. It’s about that moment when something that once felt sacred doesn’t anymore, and you realize the truth is going to surface no matter how hard someone tries to hide it. It’s painful, but it’s also very human.”

Guitarist Bill Satcher commented on the collaboration: “Teaming up with the mighty Aaron Gillespie on ‘Shadows’ brought fire to this track like no one else could have. His beat behind the kit is as unmistakable as his voice is on the mic. We’re all from the south, with our roots in South Carolina and his from Florida, so the groove locked in fast. The writing and recording sessions for this song were some of the most fun and exciting of our career, and you can really feel that energy when you listen.”

This release follows a successful summer tour in the UK, marking the band's return since 2019. Known for over 320 million streams, sold-out performances, and tours alongside acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Darius Rucker, Jason Aldean, and Greg Allman, A Thousand Horses continue to build on their reputation in rock and country music. They plan to perform at the Maid Of Stone Festival in the UK from July 17 to 19, 2026.
