The 29th Pepsi Addis Ababa 30-kilometer road race was held in the Ethiopian capital on Tikimt 9, 2018 (FM). The event started and finished at the Summit for a Better Life factory, with over 180 athletes from clubs and individuals taking part.
In the men's category, Desalegn from Addis Ababa Athletics won first place. Second and third places went to individually entered athletes Asrar Hayredin and Tolcha Tfera.
In the women's category, Rediet Daniel, competing individually, took first place. Second place was claimed by Sishay Delesa from the Federal Police, and third by Meseret Flate from the Addis Ababa Police.
The race was attended by the Addis Ababa Athletics Federation president, officials, staff members, and former champion athletes. Cash prizes were awarded to athletes from first to sixth place in each category.
