AHL announces rosters for 2026 all-star classic

Among the 48 All-Stars are 43 making their debut, 13 rookies, 12 former first-round NHL draft picks, and seven second-round selections. Thirty participants have logged time in the National Hockey League this season, including Sergei Murashov of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Gabe Perreault of Hartford, Denver Barkey of Lehigh Valley, Quinn Hutson of Bakersfield, Tim Washe of San Diego, Jacob Fowler and Adam Engström of Laval, Nick Lardis and Kevin Korchinski of Rockford, and Chicago's Bradly Nadeau, Justin Robidas, and Domenick Fensore.

Coaching the divisions are Ryan Mougenel of the Providence Bruins for the Atlantic, Pascal Vincent of the Laval Rocket for the North, Dan Watson of the Grand Rapids Griffins for the Central, and Mark Letestu of the Colorado Eagles for the Pacific.

The festivities begin with the AHL All-Star Skills Competition on February 10 at 8 p.m. ET, featuring Eastern Conference divisions against Western in seven events. The next day brings the All-Star Challenge, a 3-on-3 round-robin tournament with six eight-minute games, culminating in a championship final between the top two teams. Additionally, the AHL Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony occurs on February 11 at noon ET, honoring the Class of 2026: Chris Bourque, Alexandre Giroux, Jim Wiemer, and Wendell Young.

Since 1995, over 94 percent of All-Star Classic participants have reached the NHL, including stars like Yaroslav Askarov, Jordan Binnington, Connor Hellebuyck, and William Nylander. The AHL, operational since 1936, remains the premier development league for NHL talent, with nearly 90 percent of current NHL players as graduates.
