The Ali Forney Center hosted its spring gala at The Glasshouse in Chelsea on May 11, drawing celebrities and supporters in sequined and studded attire. The event honored several figures for their work with the organization and raised more than 3 million dollars for LGBTQIA+ youth programs.
Guests followed a queer chic dress code, with attendees wearing suits and gowns featuring crystals and sequins. Actor Tommy Dorfman noted the fashion energy, saying the looks mixed fun and creativity throughout the evening. A silent auction during the cocktail reception offered items from LGBTQIA+ artists before the main program began.
