Allied deputies distance themselves from Adorni ahead of interpellation over his assets

Oscar Zago confirmed his bloc will provide quorum to interpellate Chief of Staff Manuel Adorni on June 23, while Lisandro Almirón stated he would only back Javier Milei.

Deputy Oscar Zago of the MID bloc announced he will join the opposition session for Adorni to explain his assets. "We will provide quorum and we will support so that at least he is summoned for an interpellation", he stated. Zago criticized the official's versions and said they feel "very taken for fools".

Lisandro Almirón, a La Libertad Avanza deputy, distanced himself from the case. "I only put my hands in the fire for Javier Milei", he told Radio Dos de Corrientes. He added that the decision on Adorni's continuity belongs to the Executive and that the matter is in the hands of Justice.

Adorni declared assets of 944.5 million pesos for 2025, an increase of 775% compared to the 107.8 million reported in 2024. Coalición Cívica deputies filed a criminal complaint for omission in the asset declarations for 2024 and 2025.
