Club América defeated Toluca 4-3 in the second leg of the semifinals and qualified for the Clausura 2026 final with an 11-4 aggregate score.
The Águilas, coached by Ángel Villacampa, controlled the tie despite a high-scoring match in which Toluca briefly leveled the score on the night. Gaby García opened the scoring in the fourth minute with a header, but Faustine Robert scored three times for the Diablas before Irene Guerrero equalized from the penalty spot.
In the second half, Aylin Aviléz and Alexa Soto sealed the win for América with goals in the 75th minute and stoppage time. América will host the final next weekend at its home stadium as the regular-season leader.
The team is chasing its third Liga MX Femenil title. Its last championship came in the Clausura 2023, and it now awaits the winner of the other semifinal between Monterrey and Pachuca.
