Argentine stocks and bonds traded higher on Monday, June 1, while the blue dollar closed at 1,435 pesos for sale. Country risk remained below 500 basis points.
Most Argentine assets showed gains on Monday, June 1. YPF shares rose 3.2 percent, Pampa Energía shares 2.8 percent and Cresud shares 2.5 percent. The S&P Merval climbed 2.4 percent to 3,242,787.55 points.
The official dollar quoted at 1,395 pesos for purchase and 1,445 pesos for sale at Banco Nación. The blue dollar closed at 1,415 pesos for purchase and 1,435 pesos for sale. The MEP dollar traded at 1,440 pesos and the contado con liquidación reached 1,492 pesos.
Country risk fell 0.6 percent to 490 basis points according to J.P. Morgan. The Central Bank's international reserves closed at 48.368 billion dollars after rising 177 million.
