Ariana Grande unveils new Petal title track video

Ariana Grande has released a seven-minute black-and-white music video for the title track of her new album Petal. The visual, directed by Christian Breslauer, features the singer as an aspiring actress named Pepper who faces intense audition challenges.

The short film opens with a parental advisory warning. It shows Grande's character enduring several failed auditions before a confrontation with a producer leads to a violent sequence.

Petal is co-written and executive produced by Grande and Ilya. In a press release, Grande described the album as something full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging.

Grande is currently on tour for the first time in nearly seven years. The run supports her albums Positions, Eternal Sunshine and now Petal, with a multi-night residency in London scheduled next.
