Chilean startup Blanco closed a US$5.2 million seed round led by Krealo, the venture capital arm of Credicorp, and the Broota platform.

The company, founded in March 2024, aims to automate factoring processes for SMEs using artificial intelligence. This reduces service costs by more than half and serves operations previously overlooked.

Blanco has already enrolled over 10,000 companies and financed more than US$250 million. Its annualized revenue run rate reached US$8.7 million in June 2026, after closing 2025 at US$5.6 million.

CEO Diego Contreras explained that the AI automatically queries data from the Internal Revenue Service and other sources to assess risk and approve invoices in seconds. The startup plans to expand to Colombia or Peru during 2027.
