Blizzard Entertainment continues its series of announcements with the unveiling of the Warlock class for Diablo 4's next expansion, Lord of Hatred. The reveal comes via a new cinematic trailer that demonstrates the class harnessing powers of Hell to combat its minions.

The Warlock is the second playable class in the expansion and will launch alongside it on April 28th. Pre-purchasing the expansion provides immediate access to the Paladin class. Beyond Diablo 4, the Warlock is accessible today in the paid Reign of the Warlock DLC for Diablo 2: Resurrected. Diablo Immortal players can try the class starting in June.

In Diablo 2: Resurrected, the Warlock offers three paths: Demon, which uses hellspawn against their own kind; Eldritch, focusing on psionic forces; and Chaos, which overwhelms enemies in an elemental inferno. The DLC introduces new items, Runewords, and sets for every class. It also updates Terror Zones, adds a new end-game challenge called The Ancients, and includes a new loot filter. Additionally, Stash Tabs now feature dedicated spaces for gems, runes, and other resources, addressing a long-requested quality-of-life improvement.

This marks the first new class for the Diablo series in decades, extending to its remastered titles and mobile versions.
