The duo Cabello/Carceller presents the exhibition Notas al pie at TEA in Tenerife, which rescues the lives of trans and marginalized people through audiovisual and documentary works.
The exhibition, curated by Sergio Rubira, brings together four audiovisual pieces and a stage action based on Judith Butler's Gender Trouble.
It highlights Una voz para Erauso. Epílogo para un tiempo trans (2022), about Catalina de Erauso, born in 1585 in San Sebastián and died in 1650 in Mexico.
Another work focuses on Elena de Céspedes, prosecuted by the Inquisition, and a third on Agustina González López, killed in the Civil War.
The most recent piece, El jardín imposible de Tefía (2026), addresses the Fuerteventura concentration camp during the Franco regime.
The show remains open until September 6.
