Central Ethiopia donates 10 million birr to Gamo Zone landslide victims

Addis Ababa, Megabit 16, 2018 EC – Central Ethiopia Regional State has provided 10 million birr worth of material aid to residents affected by the recent landslide in Gamo Zone. The assistance includes food, non-food items, shelter materials, and training for long-term sustainability. Regional President Dr. Tasu expressed condolences to families who lost loved ones and affirmed continued efforts to support victims. Dr. Abebayehu Tadese, deputy president and head of the Office of Jobs and Skills for South Ethiopia Regional State, praised Central Ethiopia's solidarity, highlighting Ethiopia's culture of unity and mutual aid, as reported to Fana Digital.
