Crypto.com launches OG prediction market platform

Crypto.com announced the launch of OG, a new prediction market platform, on February 3, 2026, allowing users to trade on real-world event outcomes. Powered by its affiliate Crypto.com Derivatives North America, OG combines social features with CFTC-regulated contracts for sports, financial, and cultural events. The first one million users will receive up to $500 in rewards.

On February 3, 2026, in Tyler, Texas, Crypto.com unveiled OG, a standalone prediction market experience designed for consumers to trade, engage socially, and track leaderboards. The platform, powered by Crypto.com Derivatives North America (CDNA)—a CFTC-registered exchange and clearinghouse—offers access to a wide range of event contracts. These include CFTC-regulated sports events like the Super Bowl and March Madness, as well as financial indicators, political outcomes, elections, entertainment, and cultural trends.

OG aggregates market-driven probabilities to provide transparent, real-time forecasts of crowd expectations. Users can connect with others, share opinions, and celebrate wins, blending app accessibility with institutional-grade rigor. A key innovation is its planned margin trading on prediction contracts through Crypto.com's federally licensed futures commission merchant, marking the first such offering in publicly launched prediction markets.

Crypto.com's co-founder and CEO, Kris Marszalek, highlighted the platform's origins: "Crypto.com successfully built one of the largest brands and best app experiences in cryptocurrency during a period of hypergrowth amid a complex regulatory landscape, and now we will work to replicate this experience with OG in the prediction market space." He noted 40x weekly growth in their prediction market business over the last six months, prompting the dedicated launch.

Nick Lundgren, newly named CEO of OG and Crypto.com's chief legal officer, emphasized the company's pioneering role: "Crypto.com was the first company to offer federally licensed sports prediction contracts in the United States, so launching OG is very fitting." Lundgren led CDNA's entry with the nation's first such contracts in December 2024 and oversaw the 2022 acquisition of CDNA, the largest in crypto history at the time.

The launch aligns with industry momentum, including the formation of the Coalition for Prediction Markets by Crypto.com and others like Kalshi and Robinhood to advocate for consistent CFTC oversight. OG includes a VIP program leveraging Crypto.com's partnerships with Crypto.com Arena, UFC, Formula 1, and UEFA Champions League. Headquartered in the U.S. with an initial focus there, OG plans global expansion soon. Users can sign up via the app on App Store or Google Play, or at OG.com, with strong emphasis on security, compliance, and responsible trading tools.
