This mirrors past practices at the ride but is not guaranteed during the trial, as groups may still be split if only one seat is available. No specific end date for the testing has been provided. The trial precedes a significant overhaul of the attraction, introducing new scenes, improved graphics, selectable mission locations, additional characters, and more enhancements. The updated version is scheduled to debut on May 22, aligning with the theatrical release of The Mandalorian and Grogu. Single rider lines remain a free alternative to paid options like Lightning Lane passes for bypassing longer standby queues, though they require riders to potentially go alone.
