Doxa has released a new limited-edition dive watch honoring author Clive Cussler. The Sub 300 Ti5 Clive Cussler uses Grade 5 titanium throughout and is limited to 300 pieces.
The watch marks what would have been Cussler’s 95th birthday on July 15. It retains the original 1967 Sub 300 design but features a titanium case, crown, case back, and layered dial.
The model is COSC-certified and rated for 300 meters of water resistance. It measures 42.5 by 45 millimeters with a thickness of 13.4 millimeters and houses a Sellita SW200-1 movement.
References to Cussler appear on the date wheel, where the numerals 7, 15, and 31 are highlighted in orange. The case back bears the NUMA emblem, and part of the proceeds supports the organization.
Priced at €3,190, US$3,390, or CHF 2,890, the edition went on sale July 15 through the Doxa website and authorized retailers.
