Fat Dog announce new album Cancel Me (I’m Tired)

Fat Dog have announced their second album, Cancel Me (I’m Tired), and released its title track. The record is scheduled for release on October 2.

The band unveiled the details on June 30. The title track draws inspiration from John Lennon’s How Do You Sleep and imagines Anatolian rock band Altın Gün facing a club beat.

Frontman Joe Love began work on the album after the group’s US tour last year. During that trip he proposed in San Francisco and married in Las Vegas. The lyrics address addiction, family ties, love, AI, ancestry and extraterrestrials.

The band will play festivals and support dates through the summer before starting a UK and European headline tour in October. In-store performances are also planned around the album release.
