Fox has renewed the crime drama 'Memory of a Killer,' starring Patrick Dempsey, for a second season. The network praised the show's performances and viewer appeal. Aaron Zelman and Glenn Kessler will return as co-showrunners.
Fox announced the renewal of 'Memory of a Killer' for Season 2, as first reported by Deadline and confirmed by TVLine. The series stars Patrick Dempsey as Angelo Flannery, a family man and photocopier salesman in New York City who leads a double life as a contract killer. As his worlds collide, Angelo grapples with early-onset Alzheimer's symptoms, mirroring a condition that has affected his brother since the show's midseason premiere this year. The Season 1 finale is set to air Monday at 9 p.m. on Fox. Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn highlighted the show's success in a statement: 'Memory of a Killer has become a true standout with visceral performances from Patrick Dempsey and Michael Imperioli. Aaron Zelman, Glenn Kessler, and our partners at Warner Bros. Television have delivered a sharp, emotional character-driven thriller that's clearly landed with viewers, and we're excited to continue that success together in Season 2.' The cast also features Michael Imperioli, Gina Torres, Richard Harmon, Michaela McManus, Peter Gadiot, Richard Clarkin and Odeya Rush.
