Anthony Gordon has described the current England squad as the strongest group he has experienced during his international career. The Barcelona winger highlighted the team's chemistry and standards as they prepare for the World Cup quarter-finals.
Gordon praised the atmosphere created by manager Thomas Tuchel, saying it stands out from previous England camps. He noted the players hold each other accountable both on and off the pitch.
"We have got an unbelievable group, the best England group I have been a part of by a country mile," Gordon said. He added that the togetherness helps drive the team toward success.
England reached the quarter-finals after a last-16 win over Mexico at the Estadio Azteca. Gordon contributed two assists against DR Congo and won the penalty converted by Harry Kane in the Mexico match.
The team is scheduled to face Norway on Saturday. Gordon has also sought advice from Kane to improve his goalscoring.
