Gujarat Assembly Speaker Shankar Chaudhary was re-elected as chairman of Banas Dairy on Sunday. The board unanimously chose him for a third consecutive term. Bhavabhai Rabari was also re-elected as vice chairman.
Gujarat Assembly Speaker and BJP MLA from Tharad, Shankar Chaudhary, was re-elected as chairman of Banas Dairy on Sunday. The dairy's Board of Directors unanimously elected Chaudhary to the post for the third consecutive term. Along with Chaudhary, Bhavabhai Rabari was re-elected as the vice chairman of Banas Dairy.
In September, Chaudhary was elected unopposed as one of the 15 directors of the dairy. In fact, 15 out of the total 16 directors of the dairy were elected unopposed. Four of the directors are women.
Speaking after his and Rabari's re-election, Chaudhary said, “I thank lakhs of cattle rearers. Our board of directors will continue to work to meet their expectations.” This re-election underscores the cooperative's focus on supporting Gujarat's dairy farmers.
