Jacob Elordi revealed he was locked in a coffin with snakes for two days straight while filming his Euphoria death scene. The 29-year-old actor shared the details during a chat with co-star Colman Domingo on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Jacob Elordi described the intense shoot where his character Nate was buried alive and bitten by a rattlesnake. He told Domingo he spent six weeks getting beat by a seven-foot guy and ran constantly before the coffin sequence.
"I got locked in a coffin for two days straight with prosthetics and a fake tongue, and I couldn’t see out of my eyes. And then Sam put snakes into the coffin," Elordi said. He added the boa constrictor playing the rattlesnake was docile and sleepy, curling up at his feet instead of acting threatening.
Elordi noted the scene required no lines, just screaming "Ahhhhhh!" He said he was fine with it but listed other fears including the dark, dying, and dishwater with bits of food floating in it.
