On April 16, Karina Milei, secretary general of the Presidency, joined Cabinet Chief Manuel Adorni in Neuquén's Vaca Muerta region, a move viewed as political reinforcement amid Prosecutor Gerardo Pollicita's advancing illicit enrichment case. The pair toured Loma Campana, inspecting drilling operations, production facilities, and remote control systems managed from Buenos Aires and Neuquén.
The visit coincided with YPF receiving the Marca País Argentina certificate, presented to President and CEO Horacio Marín and Argentine Investment and Trade Agency head Diego Sucalesca. National and provincial officials, alongside energy executives, attended.
